  • Refer to our “Roof Replacement” page for a comprehensive list of questions you should ask to determine whether you need a new roof vs. a replacement. It’s also important for a roofing professional to come out and assess the condition of the roof, so please give us a call.

  • From start to finish, working with DeCarney Roofing will be a seamless process. We handle all permitting, material acquisition, debris removal, and direct communication with the company owner throughout the process to guarantee customer satisfaction.

  • Here are some suggestions that can help maintain the longevity of your new roof:

    • Have any tree branches hanging over the roof cut back to eliminate the potential for wildlife getting onto the roof and causing damage. This will also help eliminate the potential for tree damage to the roof.

    • Any leaves or branches settling in valleys and behind skylights and vents should be cleared and removed.

    • Remove excessive amounts of snow from roof to avoid ice dams.

    • Keep your gutters clean and maintained.

  • From the hot summers, to the cold winters your roof certainly can take a beating. The lifespan of a new roof depends on several factors such as the material installed, location of your home, climate and weather conditions. You can expect your new roof to last between 15-25 years.

  • There is in fact a benefit to selecting a lighter shingle color! Lighter shingle colors don’t absorb as much sunlight as darker shingles, which will help make your shingles last longer and will help to keep a roof a little cooler during the hot New England summers!
